Golf on the Emerald Isle

In spring 2007, Audi acted for the first time as co-sponsor to the Irish Open, which is held near Limerick. For the next three years, Audi will be the official car of the Irish Open, and is providing the chauffeur service for players and officials. In addition to branding the excellent Adare Manor Golf Resort, Audi also put up a new A5 as the hole-in-one prize.

Picturesque backdrop

The Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort lies in one of Ireland’s most beautiful landscapes, the Golden Vale. Gentle hills, luscious green pastures and magnificent forests shape the valley in the County of Limerick, which is well described as a “stronghold of peace and beauty”. In the region around Adare, thatched country houses and picturesque ruins abound. The golf course, health spa and restaurant of the luxurious 5-star hotel were designed by the father of modern golf course architecture, Robert Trent Jones Sr.
