Under full canvas Sailing

In merely two years’ time the TP52 Breitling MedCup – which made its debut in 2005 – has firmly established itself in the world of sailing. In the Mediterranean, the Cup has already evolved into the most important regatta series.

All crews compete in Transpac (TP) 52 class boats of nearly identical construction. The boats sporting a length of 15.850 metres are the world's quickest monohull-offshore sailboats. Underneath the boats' outer skin is a wealth of top-class technology: The materials used for the construction include carbon fibre and titanium - genuine high-tech materials used in Audi racing cars as well.
