The second generation of the success model Audi 80 was presented in Nuremburg on 30 August 1978. Designer Giugiaro was responsible for the elegant body form.
After almost six years of production, a facelift was implemented in the summer of 1984. The B series was visually aligned to the new Audi 100. Above all at the rear, the light clusters from the Audi 100 were immediately obvious.
