The second generation of the success model Audi 80 was presented in Nuremburg on 30 August 1978. Designer Giugiaro was responsible for the elegant body form.
The picture shows an Audi 80 quattro with 5E engine, which was succeeded in 1983 by the Audi 80 quattro C with a 2-litre 5-cylinder engine and with a scaled-down equipment level. Until the end of production of the Audi 80 B2 series, a total of 27,814 Audi 80 quattro vehicles were built.
