As a tribute to Tazio Nuvolari, from September 20 to 22 Audi Tradition is entered eight historic vehicles for the race starting in Mantua, the birthplace of the “Flying Mantuan”.
The Gran Premio Nuvolari recalls his victories in 1938 and 1939. In both these years the “Silver Arrow” driver won Grand Prix races for Auto Union.
1,000 kilometres on Italy’s most beautiful roads
This year the Gran Premio Nuvolari route was about 1,000 kilometres long. The first stage took drivers via Modena and Imola to the Adriatic coast and Rimini. On the second day, the drivers continued as far as Siena, then returned to Rimini. The third stage took this “mobile museum” back to Mantua via Ravenna and Ferrara.
