The Audi R8 is produced on the basis of high-quality craftsmanship. In the body shop and the assembly plant, extremely experienced quattro GmbH staff construct the vehicles primarily by hand. Due to the numerous equipment versions and customisation options they hardly ever produce a particular combination more than once.

Even at first glance it is obvious that the Audi RS vehicles, with their athletic, muscular design and the characteristic Audi RS design features, are the sporting highlights of the Audi brand. Initiated in 2009, the customer racing program has long since acquired a global dimension: as intended by Audi Sport customer racing from the outset, importer and customer teams from across the world now rely on the Audi R8 LMS – and with great success. And the success story continues: the Audi R8 LMS ultra with improvements in many areas is a comprehensively developed successor to the R8 LMS and has already been delivered to customers since February 2013. With the Audi R8 GRAND-AM a version is available for the North American GRAND-AM championship for the first time. Furthermore, in China a unique one-make Cup is held for the Audi R8 LMS.
