At the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, Audi showed its second study of 2003: the Nuvolari quattro. A powerful Gran Turismo, path-breaking with its design and technology. Audi is paying tribute with the study’s name to Tazio Nuvolari, who as a racing driver succeeded and wrote history with cars bearing the logo of the four rings.
The concept
The vision of a Gran Turismo: powerful, elegant and pioneering. In short: a GT from Audi that displays the design and technology of tomorrow.
Styling
Characteristics: the gently curved roof, the long engine cover and the rising shoulder line of the body accentuated with short overhangs at front and rear.
V10 twin turbo
The 10-cylinder-FSI engine has an output of 441 kW (600 bhp). A 6-speed automatic gearbox and quattro drive transfer this to the road surface.
Construction

Electronics
The items of electronic equipment deserving special mention are the Audi MMIMMIReduced, simple, logical: the Multi Media Interface (MMI) elegantly combines the operation of all infotainment components in one display and operating system.MMI , radar-assisted distance control and electronically controlled air suspension.
Interior design
Leather and aluminium define the interior. The driver's field of vision is dominated by two large round instruments. Gears are changed by shift paddles.
