Since 2009, one of the most significant German cultural events has enriched Audi’s many-sided commitment: the Bayreuth Festival. Its great tradition, highly exclusive character and outstanding performance standards are factors the two cooperating partners share.
The company is main sponsor of the Festival, operates a car shuttle service for guests of honour and also makes vehicles available to the Festival team. A central feature of this commitment is promotion of a Wagner opera specially staged for an audience of children. The Festival authorities created this version at the beginning of their cooperation with Audi, and the premiere was an immediate success. ‘Wagner for Kids’ is now a firm element in the annual Bayreuth Festival programme.
