Two long-established enterprises blazing the way to a successful future: Audi will remain the official automotive partner of Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach into 2014. The contract has been extended with effect from the start of the current season.
Tradition, technology and sportiness at the highest level: The partnership between AUDI AG and Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach combines all these worlds. As of the start of the current 2010/2011 Bundesliga season this premium partnership, which has already been in existence since July 2004, has been extended until the year 2014. Audi is equipping the manager, the sporting director and other officials of the five-time German champions with cars from the sporty Audi model range. In return the Ingolstadt car manufacturer will be displaying its presence on the advertising banners at the club’s home ground, Borussia Park, which was only inaugurated in 2004. And one of the latest models will be exhibited in front of the VIP entrance at each of the home games of the club whose 110-year history also includes such recent world stars as Günter Netzer and Lothar Matthäus.
This long-established club from the Lower Rhineland is thus a member of the successful football family of AUDI AG, and finds itself in good company together with the German clubs FC Bayern Munich, SV Hamburg, Hertha BSC Berlin and 1899 Hoffenheim, as well as top international clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan or the FC Chelsea.
