DKW F 8 Meisterklasse convertible saloon, 4-seater, 1939

In February 1939, the DKW Front F 8 model series was launched. A stable double box frame, improved engine mountings, a new front axle and rack-and-pinion steering achieved greater ride comfort compared to the predecessor models F 5 and F 7. With the F 8, DKW reached the peak of its mass production in the 1930s. At peak times, up to 4,800 DKW Front vehicles rolled off the line every month at the Audi factory in Zwickau.
