A good start is the first step to a successful career
Ready for a challenge? You are a recent graduate with a degree in a technical or business subject? Do you want responsibility in your area of expertise from day one? Would you also like to develop your skills in an interdisciplinary environment across the process chain? Then you are the perfect candidate for the development programme for graduates.
Development programme for graduates
During the development programme for graduates, you’ll have responsibility in your area from the moment you start. By working in two areas of the process chain, you’ll also acquire valuable interdisciplinary skills during the four-year programme.
The programme has a tandem structure, which means that we always recruit one participant for each of two interface areas. The two participants are members of a tandem partnership. They rotate jobs after around two years, and then after four years return to their original department, allowing them to benefit from in-depth exchange throughout the programme.
Individualized training programs designed to extend your specialist and interdisciplinary skills are offered throughout the duration of the programme.
After a period of 48 months, you will be an expert with wide-ranging know-how of how the company operates.
You will be supported by a management-level mentor from day one, and the programme modules will be tailored to your specific requirements in collaboration with him or her and with assistance from the Career Development Programs team.
Please note the following requirements when preparing your application:
- Good final results from university or college
- Practical experience, e.g. traineeship, internships or work experience (max. three years)
- Foreign language skills, particularly English
- Interest in interdisciplinary assignments
- Communication skills
- Team skills
- Ability to act and think in an entrepreneurial manner
- Ability to communicate in German
