A dual engineering degree with a strong practical focus: Integrated study and work experience

An effective integration of theory and practical experience, providing the optimal start of your career – the StEP-programme combines vocational training at Audi with an engineering degree course at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. After five years, you can graduate with two diplomas. You gain time, combined with maximum success and intensive working experience.

Let your future begin

The StEP-programme is geared towards school graduates who are keen on technology and have obtained a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (in German: Abitur or Fachabitur).

The following 6 studies are possible, each in combination with vocational training as a mechatronics technician or as an automotive mechatronics technician:

Programme overview

The vocational training takes place at the Audi Training Center, while the degree course is taught at the University of Applied Sciences HS Ingolstadt. Students will graduate with the qualification Bachelor of Engineering. You can expect to work independently on engineering projects during the programme and take on responsibility in practical assignments within various departments at AUDI AG early on, were you can plan your practical appointments individually together with us. This way, each participant in the StEP-Programme can decide whether to develop a broad company knowledge or specialize in one special area. You can also gain international experience by spending a semester abroad either on placement at one of the VW Group's locations or at a university.

No matter how you choose to structure your programme – you will profit from intensive personal support. In addition, Audi grants you financial support throughout the programme and also covers your tuition fees during the degree course phase! After successfully graduating your studies and the StEP-Programme, you will join Audi in the scope of an unlimited employment.

To complete the programme, there is an attractive range of social events such as team building, which gives you the opportunity to get to know yourself better and to meet other StEP graduates.

This programme bears good prospects for you in taking on a responsible position at Audi straight after graduation with wide-ranging opportunities to develop your career further.
