Internship at Audi
We offer student internships solely for enrolled university and technical university students.
A valid enrolment certificate covering the entire internship period is a requirement for an internship at Audi.
An exception can be made if the internship covers the period between a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree course. However, this will be clarified with you on an individual basis.
We offer internships to students of all nationalities. During the selection/recruitment process, we clarify the visa requirements for your nationality and assist you with your visa application, if required.
If you have non-German nationality please submit a copy of your passport and, if you have one, your residence permit with supplementary sheet together with your application.
In order to be able to work together with the team, it is definitely preferable for interns to have basic German language skills.
Internships are possible in all business divisions at Audi. As such, students from a wide range of disciplines have the opportunity to complete an internship. Of course, as a technology-led company our internships tend to focus on students on technical degree programmes.
An internship at Audi can be a compulsory or a voluntary internship, or a combination of both. The minimum duration of an internship is eight weeks, irrespective of which type it is.
You may apply for several positions although you should restrict yourself to a maximum of three advertised vacancies.
You cannot submit speculative applications for internships.
Candidates are selected on the basis of the Audi requirements profile. First of all we look through your application documents. The requirements include a good academic record. An international outlook and extracurricular activities are also plus points for your application. In addition to subject criteria, your personality also plays a very important role for us. Hence we will conduct a telephone interview and/or a personal interview with you in the relevant department.
The first day of the month or “immediately” is always specified as the start date in job advertisements for internships. However, a variety of different starting dates are offered each month. You agree on the definitive internship period in discussion with the relevant department.
In your covering letter/on the online questionnaire, please indicate the date from which you would be available for an internship.
An internship must be a minimum of eight weeks and can be a maximum of six months.
