Audi dual – study and hands-on experience
The application period is normally in the summer of the year before the programme starts. The exact application deadlines will be published on our careers website in good time.
Of course! Our colleagues on the careers advice phone hotline will be happy to answer your questions about “Careers at Audi” on +49 (0)841-89-31364. You can also send your questions in writing using the contact form on the website. We are happy to provide you with useful advice. If you would like to contact us in person, please simply visit us during one of the recruiting events where we are participating. We always attend these events with representatives from our HR department and our specialist departments. Take a look at the careers pages under the “Career events” section for details of when and where you can find us exactly.
In addition to the completed online application, we require certificates detailing your previous career details so we can check your suitability. These include, among other things, your school-leaving certificate and school reports for your last two years. A covering letter and a curriculum vitae are also useful.
You can scan in these documents and add them as files to the “Attachments” section of your application (preferably as PDF or JPG files).
If you wish to include a covering letter with your application, you can address it as follows: AUDI AG, 85045 Ingolstadt, Germany You can choose “Dear Sir or Madam” as your salutation.

Yes. At the start of the application process, a personal login including a password will automatically be sent to your email address. This allows you to log in again at any time and add any missing details. For that reason you should not delete the email with your login details. www.audi.de/audidual will take you to the relevant website. Use the login for registered applicants to access your application again.
When you log in again using the login for registered applicants, click on “Forgotten password” and then enter your email address so you can request a new password. The password is emailed to you.
Once you’ve entered all your data under all the sections you must also actually send your application online (before the end of the application phase!) under “Send”. Only then can we see and process your application.

The university programmes and partnerships are being continually reviewed and tailored to the requirements of AUDI AG. We would like to provide our students with the best possible support as part of permanent partnerships. Studying at other universities is therefore unfortunately not possible.
The DHBW is a state university in Baden-Württemberg which only offers dual courses of study. Theoretical and hands-on phases generally alternate every 3 months. All DHBW students require a corporate partner before they can be admitted to the university.
As part of Audi dual, you study regularly at a university as part of the normal semester programme. You acquire the theoretical specialist knowledge not in special dual lectures, but together with students with no corporate partner. The hands-on phases are held in the semester breaks, during a hands-on semester and while you are working on your graduation thesis.
Yes, you can complete a study semester at the international partner universities of your local university as well as gaining practical experience at an international group location.
The practical assignments are only held in the semester breaks. As part of various projects in the various specialist areas in AUDI AG you can put the theory you learned at university into practice. In addition to the semester holidays, you can gain practical experience during a hands-on semester and while you are putting together your graduation thesis.
AUDI AG guarantees a job in the company as part of the programme. That means if you successfully complete the programme, we will offer you a permanent contract.
You will gain real insights into a large international company and be able to put into practice what you learned during your university course. In the hands-on phases you take on responsibility right from the start as part of your own projects. A further plus is the commensurate monthly remuneration that you receive from Audi. And, we will gladly take on successful graduates.
To make it easier for you to find accommodation, we will provide you with information and further links once your contract has been signed.
You receive a monthly remuneration as an Audi dual student. This depends on which phase of the programme you are in at any given time. We provide you with financial assistance both while you’re studying at your university here in Germany, as part of an overseas semester or also during the hands-on phases. The amount of the payments is graded on an annual basis and is geared to our remuneration for apprentices.
