You will be assigned within the company in the Powertrain Procurement department. This department is responsible for worldwide procurement of automotive components in the area of engines, transmissions and electrification, with consideration of costs, schedules, capacities and quality. The primary task for Powertrain Procurement is conducting global requests to suppliers for new powertrain projects and for powertrains in series production including the associated change management. This includes conducting negotiations with partners in worldwide procurement markets. Intensive structuring of prices and contracts ensures an adequate price-performance ratio for customers. In the process, the global competitive environment is analyzed to identify new market trends and to make the required capacities available as needed and on-schedule. Powertrain Procurement also provides support as an escalation function in new project start-ups as well as in supply bottlenecks in production supply.
The 3-semester Technical Procurement Management master’s degree program offers in-depth study of procurement processes, negotiation techniques, compliance, supply chain management or supplier management.
You benefit from intensive personal supervision. You also receive financial assistance from Audi for the duration of the course. Having successfully completed the programme, Audi will offer you a permanent contract.
An attractive social programme that enables you and the other dual students to get to know each other better as part of a team training course, for instance, rounds off the programme.
In the hands-on phases in the semester breaks, an additional hands-on semester or as part of your graduation thesis, you can work independently on complex projects and quickly take on responsibility. We specify the practical assignments individually with each dual student. That way you can help structure your own career path early on as a programme participant. You also have the opportunity to gain international experience at an international group location or during a theoretical overseas semester.
