Jamie Green has been part of the Audi family since 2013 and over the past years has already developed into a force to be reckoned with in the DTM. With four victories at the city race in Nuremberg, which is regarded as the highlight of the season, the twofold family father is also called "King of the Norisring". But Green is quick on other tracks too. Particularly impressive was his triumph on the Lausitzring in 2015, where he won both races. In 2016, a victory in Zandvoort was yet another achievement. Green was the first Audi driver to clinch a race win in 2017, when he won at the season opener at Hockenheim, the first of his three victories this year. Ultimately, a season of ups and downs and some bad luck saw Green finishing third in the race for the 2017 drivers’ title. The former Formula 3 champion lives in Monaco with his wife and two sons. There, the Liverpool FC fan enjoys vast cycling tours with other racing drivers.

“The season was one of ups and downs, not only for me. That six drivers traveled to the finale with title chances shows how unpredictable the DTM was this year. Aside from the problems that slowed me here and there, it was a real pleasure to drive as strong a car as the Audi RS 5 DTM,” said Green. “This is a car any race driver can only wish for. Having four drivers heading the standings, plus winning the teams’ classification – you really can’t achieve any more than that. Thank you also to Team Rosberg for the mega job the guys delivered.”
