Philip Ellis has won the Audi Sport TT Cup early in Hockenheim. The Briton has established an insurmountable lead on the table after his victory in the first of two races at the finale.
Early advantage

Philip Ellis came to Hockenheim with a 24-point lead. He secured a decisive advantage early, clinching pole position in qualifying, whilst title rival Mikel Azcona could only manage fourth on the grid. Even though the Spaniard improved to second place in the race, he could no longer catch Ellis in the championship fight.

Final decisions

Mikel Azcona prevailed over the new champion Philip Ellis in the final race, whilst third place went to Australian Drew Ridge. In the final Audi Sport TT Cup rankings, Tommaso Mosca secured third behind Ellis and Azcona. The Italian has also won the rookie evaluation as the best newcomer.
