Horch 8, Type 305 Pullman Landaulet, 1928

The 8-cylinder inline engine designed by Paul Daimler with two overhead camshafts and upright shaft drive was a unit that was as enormous as it was refined. The decision by the Horch factory to concentrate all production on premium class luxury cars demanded a high standard of quality in the field of technical development and production. The launch of the Horch 305 in December 1927 documented this claim once more.
