NSU Prinz III automobile, 1960

In September 1960, the Prinz III was launched, the final development stage of the model 40. Externally hard to distinguish from its predecessor, the Prinz now had a 23 hp and a 30 hp engine. It also had a modified suspension and improved noise damping. In total, nearly 100,000 vehicles of this model series were sold. Production of the model series ended on 21 December 1962 and it was superseded by the Prinz 4.
