Resource scarcity, environmental degradation, climate change and the demographic trend: These aspects not only influence social life but also present new challenges to companies.
The Audi Sustainability Program combines strategic goals in the area of sustainability with concrete measures. It is divided into the four core topics “Operations and Integrity,” “Products and Services,” “Value Creation and Production” as well as “Employees and Society.”
The Audi Group is pursuing clear goals – it strives not only to secure its own long-term competitiveness but also to meet the needs of its interest groups by conducting its business in a value-oriented manner and staying fit for the future.
The far-reaching transformation which the automotive industry is undergoing affects all areas – products as well as the business units, competition and customer requirements. Audi is facing up to these challenges.
Audi takes responsibility for its employees and for society as a whole. In doing so, the company takes many different factors into consideration – for example, the transformation of the workplace, the need to balance family life and careers, the desire for lifelong learning, and occupational health and safety. Our focus is first and foremost on people.
Voluntary undertakings and principles that apply across the Group form the basis and backbone of our strategic sustainability objectives.
Compliance & Risk Management
At Audi, compliance represents activities that, in their entirety, seek to keep practices in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Our strategy, ‘Consistently Audi’, which was introduced in May 2019, is changing many things. It has put sustainability at the heart of corporate activity. It is also changing the way in which Audi reports on its activities as part of ‘consistently sustainable’ – one of the four cornerstones of the strategy.
