Audi and Corona FAQs
The corona pandemic has suddenly changed a lot of things at Audi. But we are doing everything to flatten the infection curve. For example, we have introduced a general ban on business trips and encourage our employees to work from home wherever possible. The fight against the virus and the health of all of us have top priority. At the same time, our digital offerings and services, as well as digital collaboration, are becoming even more important.
After production at the Chinese plants had already been restarted on February 17, 2020 and is now largely back to regular volumes, the European sites have been gradually ramping up again since the end of April 2020. Comprehensive precautions have been taken to protect employees’ health during the restart.
As the implementation of corona frameworks varies between countries, some of the dealerships are open to a limited extent and under special conditions. You can still reach the Audi partners by phone, e-mail and various digital tools, such as chats. Please refer to your relevant country website or contact your local Audi partner or dealership.
Good to know: As provided in the specifications of the state and federal governments for the containment of coronavirus infections, our sales partners continue to offer you the Audi workshop and garage service. That’s how we ensure that you have the necessary individual mobility in this challenging situation.
In Italy, as well as in Germany, you can even arrange for the service to be completely contactless. At Audi service stations, customers can hand over and collect their cars and keys without the need to have physical contact to employees.
Audi is offering its customers an extension of new car and extended warranties. This measure is being introduced short-term in many markets around the world as many customers have been, or still are, unable to visit an Audi dealership and report their warranty claims due to the ongoing Corona crisis.
