Business informatics
Bachelor of Science (m/f/x)
The development dynamics of information technology influence companies in all sectors, including car manufacturers. It’s not uncommon for a process to be computer-aided, something that one might not expect at first glance. Business informatics deals with all the essential aspects of communication and information systems in companies. It is also concerned with the analysis of data and its use in a business context to develop new, or improve existing, business models.
The role of Business Informatics graduates is to analyse and optimise operational processes. For a holistic analysis, processes need to be considered from both an information technology and a business perspective. This course of study is offered with different specialisations.

Each year we offer around 18 places which are divided between different dual universities with their respective degree courses.
The degree courses offered, and the university partnerships are continuously reviewed and aligned to the requirements of AUDI AG. Studying at other universities is therefore unfortunately not possible.
No, if we enter into a study contract with you, we will also enrol you at our partner campus at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). We have already reserved places there in advance.
In the degree course, 12-week periods of studying theory at the relevant DHBW campus alternate with 12-week work experience periods at our Neckarsulm and Ingolstadt sites. During your work experience stage, you will pass through different departments of our company, thereby getting to know AUDI AG. This departmental schedule is worked out individually for all students; it may, for example, include a work placement abroad. You will also have the opportunity of implementing projects independently.
The departments are involved in our selection process, so it is already decided at the start of your degree where your journey with Audi will take you. You will receive initial information about the different departments when you attend the assessment centre.
