The Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern concept showcases a unique anniversary wrap.

At the beginning of our partnership with FC Bayern in 2002, we could not have imagined that we would one day look back on a shared history that would last for years and be marked by so many successes and milestones. At that time, FC Bayern’s current CEO and coaches were still active on the pitch. The future, as we experience it today, was only just being conceived in Audi Research and Development.

To develop a fully electric drive technology with the Audi e-tron that one day would have just as much impact as the quattro technology – 20 years ago that was as grand a vision as wanting to establish yourself permanently among the world’s top clubs in the face of international football competition. We both made it. What an anniversary!

After 20 years together there is a lot for us to celebrate. The Audi design tells us this in the form of an "anniversary jersey" thats spans the hood and roof of the Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern concept, completed by FC Bayernn

’s club crest on the rear window. Each season is highlighted separately, framed on a timeline in a diamond look in high-contrast red on a black background.

The Audi RS e-tron GT FC Bayern concept becomes a time machine and shows what a football club with strong partners can do. This partnership thrives on the mutual promise to offer more together and to see the presence at our grounds as a privilege that must be used in the interest of fans.

We are interested in connections, dynamics, movement and, time and again, the desire to head off in the direction of the future and the next title. It is this attitude that brings success. All in all, these have been 20 years full of superlatives, which we now fondly look back on, while sensing the most important thing: the incredibly strong, positive emotions evoked by Audi and FC Bayern.
