The DTM offers action-packed racing of the highest calibre with turbocharged engines producing over 600 hp and racecars weighing less than 1,000 kilogrammes. The 2019 season, the fastest in DTM history, sees Aston Martin, Audi and BMW competing against each other in the eighteen sprint races. The Class 1 vehicles, like the Audi RS 5 DTM, are thoroughbred racecars bearing an optical resemblance to their road-going siblings. Some of the best drivers in the world are behind the wheel.

DTM – RACE CALENDAR 2019

Every DTM weekend has two DTM races: The first on Saturday, followed by the second on Sunday – beginning at the fixed time of 13:30 local time. A total of nine race weekends in Europe are on the 2019 calendar. Five events are taking place in Germany, together with one each in Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and Great Britain. New additions to the calendar include Zolder in Belgium and Assen, the Dutch MotoGP circuit. Three race cars from the Japanese Super GT will be on the DTM grid at the Hockenheim season finale, before a joint race weekend of the DTM and Super GT at Fuji Speedway, Japan, in November.

THE NEXT RACE

The DTM offers the fans a compact race calendar. The nine events take place throughout Europe from May to October, during the European summer. A joint-event in Japan together with the Japanese Super GT is also being planned for November.

SIX PLUS TWO

Audi is taking part in the 2019 DTM season with a factory entry of six drivers and the three Audi Sport Teams Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Rosberg. Amongst the unchanged driver line-up are the DTM champions from 2013 and 2017, Mike Rockenfeller and René Rast. Two additional Audi RS 5 DTM cars are entered by the customer team WRT.
