ZOLDER IS AN OLD-SCHOOL TRACK, THE WALLS ARE NEVER FAR AWAY. IT ADDS SOMETHING TO THE EXCITEMENT, BUT YOU NEED TO AVOID MISTAKES. OVERTAKING IS ALSO NOT EASY THERE.

RACE FACTS

RACE FACTS

Circuit Zolder was opened in 1963 by the local motorsport club in Zolder. Between 1973 and 1984, the Belgian Grand Prix was held at the venue for a total of ten times.

The 4.003-kilometre-long race track offers drivers renowned corners such as the fast chicane and the Sterrenwachtbocht and Kanaalbocht corner sequence. The DTM visited the circuit from 1984 to 1994 and in 2002. The last DTM race winner there in 2002 was Laurent Aiello in an ABT-Audi TT-R.
