THE NORISRING IN NUREMBERG IS A REAL HIGHLIGHT. FOR AUDI’S DTM DRIVERS, IT’S ALSO THE RACE ON HOME SOIL, VERY CLOSE TO THE COMPANY’S HEADQUARTERS IN INGOLSTADT. THAT’S WHY IT’S AN IMPORTANT RACE FOR US.

RACE FACTS

RACE FACTS

The Norisring provides close action on the narrow layout that is surrounded by concrete walls and barriers, which leave very little room for mistakes. With it being Audi Sport’s home race, many “Audians” attend the event and provide even more support for the Audi drivers and the team as a whole.

Despite having only a few corners, the circuit has a lot to offer. The tarmac has many bumps and the braking zones are very important at the end of the long straights. In addition, parts of the track are used as public roads, and because of this, it is an evolving surface for which you have to readjust to the available grip levels during each race weekend.
