The DTM has never raced more often on any other race track than at Hockenheim. There is usually a unique atmosphere in the grandstands of the “Motodrom”. From here, fans can see a large part of the circuit.
The Hockenheim Grand Prix circuit is considered a particularly demanding racetrack with many fast and medium-speed corners, in which the car has to generate a lot of downforce. In contrast, top speed is of the essence on the long, seemingly never-ending ‘Parabolika’ before the hairpin, where the majority of the overtaking takes place and thrilling slipstreaming is common. The fast first corner after the start-finish line is a challenge.
