FORMULA E: GRAND FINALE

The sixth season of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship concludes with its final two races. On Wednesday and Thursday, August 12–13, the third double header takes place in Berlin. The teams competing in six races in only nine days bring the season to a close in the German capital. Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler, together with its drivers Lucas di Grassi and René Rast behind the wheel of its pair of Audi e-tron FE06 race cars, aims to finish the season with a highlight.

RACE FACTS

Berlin is the only city to appear on the Formula E calendar in all six seasons. With one exception, the race has always been and continues to be held at the former Tempelhof airport that perfectly fits Formula E with its historic backdrop and compact premises. In 2020, the venue will see the restart and conclusion of the sixth Formula E season and will feature different layout configurations for the three double headers in August.

As far as the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler team goes: in 2018, Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi achieved a day that has been unique to date: victory, second place, pole position and the fastest race lap. One year later, Lucas di Grassi was victorious and also set a new lap record.
