For the seventeenth consecutive season, Audi and Real Madrid maintain a successful relationship based on the pursuit of perfection and leadership through innovation. And like every year the players of the white club's first team have received the keys to the new Audi company vehicles they will drive during their official trips this season.

For yet another season, the Audi Q family takes on a special role. A handful of players have opted for one of the SUV models in the upper segment, many of them chose the versatility of the Audi Q7. Modric, Militao and Mendy change the Q7 for the Audi Q8, attracted by the SUV coupé’s extra personality and dynamism, which is once again the choice for Kroos and Hazard. Karim Benzema completes the “Q team” switching from last year’s RS3 Sportback to the new Audi Q5.

Raphael Varane and Vinícius Junior surely play a special role in this year’s car hand over by choosing the new all-electric Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro and underline their passion for sustainability and performance equally. Last year, the French defender was able to see all the advantages of electric mobility driving an e-tron quattro, while for Vinícius this year will be a whole new electrifying experience. The electric SUV with coupé bodywork, in its 55 quattro version, offers a maximum system power reaching 300 kW (408 HP) in boost mode, and a range of up to 446 km.

Another representative from the electrified model range with an Audi TFSIe plug-in hybrid powertrain will be Marco Asensio who, without renouncing the elegance and sportiness conveyed of the A7 Sportback' silhouette, will be using the more than 50 km of autonomy in electric mode of the four-door coupe.

Both Zinedine Zidane, coach of the team, and Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid’s captain, have chosen one of the most powerful models of all this season: the Audi RS 6 Avant, with the V8 TFSI biturbo delivering 441 kW (600 HP). Furthermore, midfielders Casemiro and Valverde will also enjoy the power of Audi Sport’s V8 TFSI biturbo unit, but in a different format. The Brazilian will drive an RS 7 Sportback, while the Uruguayan goes from a Q8 to an RS Q8.

All the Audi vehicles to be driven by the Real Madrid players this new season have quattro drive, one of the hallmarks of the brand with the four rings, and their engines are electrified with some of the Audi technologies: Mild-Hybrid (MHEV) in the A7 Sportback, in the SUVs and in the RS models; plug-in hybrid in the case of the A7 Sportback TFSIe; and one hundred percent electric propulsion for those who have chosen the e-tron Sportback.
