A catwalk made of asphalt
It does not always have to be Paris, Milan or New York. The new Audi RS 5 Sportback transforms the road into a stage beyond the well-known fashion capitals. The Carbon appearance package sharpens its sporty styling: thanks to the front spoiler, the sill extension inserts, rear spoiler and carbon diffuser insert in the back, as well as decorative framing of the radiator grille, decorative trim on the side windows and a horizontal bridge in the diffuser insert in the back in glossy black. No wonder that the quattro logo on the front in a matte titanium look – optionally available with glossy black Audi rings – is one of the most sought-after labels.

Performance intensified
The Audi RS 5 Coupé – commands respect at the first glance. The stats are also respectable: 331 kW (450 HP) and 600 Nm from a 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine. The 8-speed tiptronic provides for impressive sprinting power. Immediately converted into propulsion – by the permanent quattro four-wheel drive.

Stylish and always totally in control
The RS sports suspension plus with dynamic ride control (DRC) is available as an option to enhance the sporty driving characteristics. Steel springs and shock absorbers with variable characteristic curves reduce pitch and roll movements around the transverse and longitudinal axis using hydraulics alone. The dampers, positioned diagonally opposite to each other, are connected to each other via oil lines and one central valve each. When the dampers are immersed in different ways, for example, when going round corners at high speeds, the valves act on the oil flow at the deflected wheel. They reinforce the support there, thereby reducing the lateral angle and increasing the driving dynamics.
