h-tron

What is h-tron?
A car that runs purely on electricity, with hydrogen as its energy source, but is full in four minutes – the Audi h-tron quattro concept avoids the long charging times currently still required for conventional electric vehicles. The concept study is driven by a fuel cell. It generates electricity from hydrogen – a gas that Audi can produce itself in its own power-to-gas plant using neutral, green electricity CO₂. The company is thus making an unusual proposal for the mobility of the future.
The automotive future.
Driven by power sockets alone or propelled by hydrogen? Audi is focusing on both and is therefore also increasingly involved in the sustainable development of fuel cell technology.
Because in terms of efficiency, the fuel cell surpasses any conventional combustion engine, and only a few drops of water come out of the exhaust. And refuelling? Takes only a few minutes, as with conventional drives.
