Roadmap E in China

Audi Q4 e-tron concept – first electric Audi model developed on the MEB platform
The Q4 e-tron concept, Audi’s next milestone in its electrification roadmap, is making its Asia debut at the auto show. The car is the first electric Audi model developed on the MEB platform. With local partner FAW, Audi will locally produce the Q4 e-tron in China soon.
“As a pioneer for future technologies, China is setting the pace in many key areas.”
“As a pioneer for future technologies, China is setting the pace in many key areas. The market is of vital importance for us and I consider it a top priority. I am convinced that both the Q4 e-tron concept and the Q5L Sportback will definitely delight our customers in China,” says Markus Duesmann, Chairman of the Board of Management and Board of Management Member for Technical Development and Product Lines at AUDI AG.
Audi is transforming into a provider of electric mobility. As an important step of our Roadmap E in China, the locally produced Audi e-tron meet Chinese customers for the first time during the auto show. Production of the car will officially start in Changchun in October. The Audi e-tron Sportback, which made its global debut in November in the US last year, is shown to Chinese customers for the first time.
Under Audi’s Roadmap E, it will put more than 30 electrified models on the market globally by 2025, and they will account for a 40 percent share of sales.
