Audi diversity networks: changing together
Diversity networks are of great importance in dynamic work environments. They promote not only the exchange of information and ideas, but also the development of relationships and career opportunities. They can serve as both a stabilizer and a catalyst – what matters is to include everyone equally and to treat everyone the same.
women@audi
At women@audi, the company’s largest and oldest network, more than 2,500 employees take advantage of the many opportunities for connecting and growing together. Lectures, meet-ups, everyday tips: Since 2022, a successful mentoring program has also been in place. To date, 231 tandems of employees and managers have participated, developing together over a period of nine months, discussing answers to topical questions and exchanging personal perspectives. Interest in the program is growing all the time, reflecting what is becoming ever more important in a changing world: finding guidance – both at a human and a professional level. Networking empowers people – a realization participants continue to make time and again.

internationals@audi
internationals@audi is a diversity network that makes cultural diversity visible within the Audi Group and actively promotes it. It brings together people from a wide range of countries of origin, with extremely diverse life paths and perspectives. Its members are committed to actively integrating international colleagues at the German sites into both the corporate culture and the social environment. In addition, the network provides a platform for exchanging global topics, for intercultural collaboration and learning from one another.

queer&friends@audi
queer&friends@audi is a network that addresses queer issues in the work environment. The term “queer” stands for the diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities that deviate from the heterosexual norm. The network also provides a safe space for employees who are not part of the community themselves, allowing them to ask questions. queer&friends@audi not only has an internal impact but also repeatedly demonstrates a clear stance in society. Members take part in public events or use theme days such as Pride Day as an opportunity to initiate their own activities. Especially in close collaboration with the PROUT AT WORK foundation, which Audi has supported for many years, queer&friends@audi visibly champions diversity – opening up space for greater authenticity and inclusion within the company.

These employee-driven initiatives for diversity are creating tremendous added value for Audi, especially now. They strengthen cohesion in turbulent times and reflect the values that the people at Audi openly stand for.
Anyone interested can learn more about the respective network communities at any time and get involved themselves. The recipe for success is openness, because everyone is welcome – regardless of gender, age, cultural background or sexual orientation. What counts is feeling included and wanting to help shape change: together.
