Application process
Here you will find all the answers to your questions about the Audi Global Graduate Program application process:
There are three main steps in our application process. The first step is to submit your application via our online career portal – we do not accept applications by email. Afterwards, the best candidates are invited to an online interview with one of our recruiters and the hiring manager of the target position. The best performing candidates are then invited to an Assessment Center at AUDI AG’s headquarters in Ingolstadt. The AC usually takes place on site. With international applicants (living outside Europe) we switch to an online version.
New trainees start in the AGGP twice a year, on April 1st and on October 1st. Open positions usually go online around 7 months before the start dates. This means that for a start in October the positions usually are live in March and for a start in April you’ll find the job postings around September. It’s important to know that our positions are online for only two weeks. Be fast!
When you apply for a position within the Audi Global Graduate Program, you’re also applying for a defined job you will take over after your 1.5 years in the AGGP. From day one you have a permanent employment contract with AUDI AG and know where you’ll land after finishing the program. We understand that as a recent graduate it might be hard to choose which position specifically excites you the most. It’s completely fine to apply to up to three positions.
Excellent question! When crafting your application, you should always keep in mind that you are applying to two positions at the same time: a place within the Audi Global Graduate Program and a specific permanent position at Audi after finishing the program. Therefore, ensure that your application reflects not only your motivation for the program, but also for the job that awaits you after you have completed it.Now some more tips for your application:Cover Letter & CV: Reflect on the program requirements and the requirements for the specific position you’re applying to. Make sure that you make clear in your application documents how you meet these criteria. If you’re from Germany, don’t forget to list your German skills in your CV or if you’re from abroad, your international experience. Are you unsure about something or would like to emphasize an experience? Feel free to do so in your cover letter. Please send your application in English.Further Documents: Don’t forget to upload reference letters, grade sheets, certificates and any other documents you consider relevant for your application (as a portfolio for a design position, for instance). A complete application with all relevant documents is going to strengthen your profile to our recruiters.
If you have submitted a great application and passed the interview, you will get an invitation to an assessment center. The assessment center will usually be done in person at AUDI AG’s headquarters in Ingolstadt. It involves some tasks that simulate situations which Audi trainees generally are confronted with during the program. During the assessment center, you will be evaluated by a committee of company representatives.Unfortunately, we cannot share which tasks are given during the assessment center.
As much as we would love to personally get to know each and every candidate in a short-call or videoconference, we can’t accommodate so many requests. Only doing a few wouldn’t be fair to other candidates. That’s why we have put so much time and effort into crafting these FAQs so that you have as much information as possible about the program and its application process.
We can only give feedback through the official application process. Our advice: If you’re unsure, go ahead and apply!
