  1. Résumé/CV
  2. Cover letter
  3. Employer references and/or evidence of internships
  4. School leaving or graduation certificate showing your grades (e.g., high-school diploma, A-level certificate, International or European Baccalaureate, Matura; bachelor’s/master’s/doctoral degree certificate)

Tips:

  • Applications without the corresponding file attachments cannot be considered in our application process.

Advice on certificates and qualifications not acquired in Germany

If you have acquired your qualifications outside Germany (or the EU /EEA), please attach an official accreditation from the relevant state recognition body (Zeugnisanerkennungsstelle) in Germany. You also have the option of a verification check at a Germany embassy or taking a German language proficiency exam (e.g. DSH or TestDaF ), which will establish your ‘Abitur’ grade. However, whether German language skills are necessary will depend on the position you have applied for and the department.

You should attach the following documents to your application...

As a pupil for a training position

  • Your last two school year transcripts of records
  • Personal cover letter

As a university student for an internship or academic thesis

  • High-school diploma
  • Current university’s enrolment certificate
  • Current transcripts of records and accumulated credit points
  • Letters of reference from internships and jobs

As a career starter/graduate

  • Résumé/CV
  • Cover letter
  • Employer references and/or evidence of internships
  • High-school diploma
  • Graduation certificate (e.g., bachelor’s/master’s/doctoral degree certificate showing your grades; if not yet available, current overview of grades will suffice)
  • In the case of foreign certificates, please attach an official notification of recognition, e.g., for your high-school diploma or bachelor’s degree, from the Certificate Recognition Office to your documents.

As a professional

  • Résumé/CV

The application process – FAQs

Can I speak directly to Audi employees?

Yes, of course! If you have any questions, you’re welcome to get in touch with our ‘career chat’ service. Or come and meet us in person at one of our many recruitment events . Members of our HR team and representatives from various departments always attend.

Can I also submit a speculative application?

No, we do not accept unsolicited job applications.

Can I prepare for using the application assistant?

The better you prepare for your application, the faster you can complete it. This includes having digital versions of all the relevant information and documents for your application readily to hand. Please pay attention to the file size when scanning your documents. Your application attachments are limited to 10 MB of storage space in total.

What happens to my data?

Your data will, of course, be treated in the strictest confidence.

I’ve received the message: “Email address already registered, please log in.” What does it mean?

If you’ve received this message, it means that you’ve already registered with us. You can use your existing candidate profile for other applications. Please log in at www.audi.com/meine-bewerbung and, if necessary, update and add to your information. Then you can apply to us again. If you’ve forgotten your login details, you can have them sent to your email address.

I’ve forgotten my password to log in. What can I do?

Please go back to the Audi Job Portal, click on ‘My Profile’ at the top and then on ‘Reset password’. Please enter your email address and then click on ‘Reset password’ . You will receive a new password by email right away.

Several jobs appeal to me. Can I apply for more than one?

It may well be the case that you will see several vacancies that interest you. In general, you are welcome to apply for more than one position. However, it’s important that you restrict the number of applications you make and that you don’t adopt a scattergun approach. You need to demonstrate that you have chosen to apply for the job because you believe that your qualifications and experience match the job requirements. Indiscriminate and untargeted applications do not make a good impression. Please only apply once for a training place. If necessary, you can indicate an alternative wish in this one application.

Can I interrupt the application procedure and resume it later?

Yes. At the start of the application procedure you will be asked to choose personal login details (username and password). With these, you can access your candidate profile at www.audi.com/meine-bewerbung and add missing information.

How do I finally complete the submission of my application?

After you have finished entering your information in all the sections, you must also actually submit your application online (before the closing date). You can do this under the menu item ‘Send’. Only then will we be able to view and process your application.

How will I know that Audi has received my application?

After you submit your application, a confirmation of receipt will be emailed automatically to the email address you have provided. If you do not receive this confirmation of receipt by email, please log in to your application again and check that you did actually submit it in the last section ‘Send’.

What happens after I submit my application?

As soon as you’ve sent us your application, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt. Your application is then forwarded to Candidate Management whose team will look at each application individually. There are no parameters set in the system to filter your application; instead an employee will check this carefully and send you a personal message with the initial result as quickly as possible. As soon as we then have any new information about your application status, we will contact you.

Can I view my application?

Yes, you can access and view your application using your personal login even after the closing date has passed. To re-enter the job portal, use the login for already registered candidates.

What information, if any, can I change after I’ve submitted my application?

You can update your personal information and career details at any time as well as adding attachments – even when the application process is ongoing. You will not be able to alter your covering letter or the information you’ve entered in the job-specific questionnaire once you’ve submitted your application.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes, you can withdraw your application at any time. However, once you’ve withdrawn your application, you cannot then submit it again. You will have to reapply for the job. Once submitted, applications cannot be deleted from your candidate profile.

Starting your career with Audi – general FAQs

Where can I work for Audi?

Audi has two sites in Germany – Ingolstadt in Bavaria and Neckarsulm, which is near Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg. You could work at either of them. In rare cases, posts become available that are not based at either of these locations; this will be made clear in the job description. This also applies to internships and working abroad. If you are interested in working overseas, you’ll find all the available addresses for our sites worldwide here. Please apply directly to the site you’re interested in. In Germany, there are also job opportunities with Audi partners.

Is Audi only looking for employees with university degrees?

No, not at all, we also need employees without academic qualifications. As an employer, Audi is fully committed to training and runs one of the largest apprenticeship programs in Germany. We make every effort to fill vacant positions with our own apprentices first.

Which departments can I join?

You can join any department, providing, of course, that there are suitable vacancies.
