Audi in Hungary
At the Hungarian plant in Győr, AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. develops and manufactures engines for AUDI AG and other companies of the Volkswagen Group. In October 2013, the company also started series production of the new A3 Cabriolet. This Audi model is one the first to be built in full at the site in Hungary. This is also where the Audi TT Coupé, Roadster, Q3 and Q3 Sportback roll off the production line. Audi Hungaria is the world’s largest plant for the production of powertrains. The company has also been producing electric motors for the Audi e-tron since 2018. Furthermore, Audi Hungaria joins Brussels as the second net carbon-neutral Audi site.
