Diversity is a catalyst for transformation and an indicator of responsible conduct by a company. Different ways of thinking, different abilities, cultural imprints and skill sets are the keys to success. Diversity & Inclusion is therefore increasingly coming to the fore at Audi and is part of the company’s sustainability strategy.

Our commitment to equal opportunities

Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) must be embedded in the company in the long term to ensure and effectively promote equal opportunities. This includes, for example, equitable business processes, unconscious bias training, gender-sensitive language, mentoring programs and job sharing at management level.

The power of unconscious bias

Unconscious biases are judgments that we make subconsciously about the skills and abilities of different persons or groups. They are the result of unconscious mental patterns that assign certain stereotypes to people. The decisions we make each and every day are influenced by these biases.

Partner initiatives

Together we are strong: to further develop diversity management in a targeted way, Audi is relying on an open exchange with cooperation partners, foundations, and initiatives throughout Germany and internationally. The aim is to promote Diversity & Inclusion and to embed them for the long term. The inclusion and appreciation of diversity are essential to shaping Audi’s working environment in an innovative way.
