Audi ArtExperience: The four rings’ cultural commitment
Audi has supported cultural initiatives for more than 60 years. Its activities include its own musical ensembles as well as sponsorships in the fields of visual arts, theatre and film. Events, concerts and festivals are also part of the Audi ArtExperience. These activities reflect Audi’s cultural engagement. The following section presents a selection of these initiatives.
Sponsored by Audi: The Salzburg Festival
Audi has been the main sponsor of the Salzburg Festival since 1995. The partnership has been extended through 2027.
A permanent part of the collaboration is the Salzburg Festival's guest performance in Ingolstadt. It has been part of the Audi Summer Concerts since 1994.
World-class ensemble: Audi Young Persons‘ Choral Academy
Around 70 young singers appear on the stages of internationally renowned concert halls. Most recently, they performed at New York's Carnegie Hall, among other venues.
The nucleus of the Audi ArtExperience: The Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra
The history of today’s Audi Wind Philharmonic began in 1962 with the spontaneous formation of a factory orchestra. This ensemble later evolved into the Audi Wind Philharmonic. Its performances are an established part of the region’s cultural life.
Highlight: The Audi Summer Concerts
Four weeks dedicated to music: The Audi Summer Concerts are among Audi’s key cultural events. The programme features a range of musical genres and formats. International artists perform alongside emerging young musicians. The programme also includes the Classical Open Air concerts in Klenzepark.
Every year at the headquarters: the Audi Christmas concert
The Audi Christmas Concert takes place every year during Advent at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt. Together with the Georgian Chamber Orchestra, the concert programme features different soloists each year as well as Audi’s own ensembles.
Unique: The Museum of Concrete Art and Design in Ingolstadt
Audi ist Gründungsmitglied und Förderer der Stiftung für Konkrete Kunst und Design Ingolstadt. Die Stiftung fördert die Konkrete Kunst in Deutschland.
