Find your master‘s degree program at Audi.

The application period for the dual master's program begins on October 1, 2026. At the start of the application period, you will already be enrolled in your first master's semester and will combine your current studies with practical placements at AUDI AG from the second semester (Spring 2027) onwards.

Your dual master’s degree program – as individual as you are

At the beginning of your dual study program, you determine your program together with your target area. Your dual study program is thereby individually tailored to you and your target position.

During your lecture-free periods (semester breaks, practical semester, master’s thesis) you will gain practical experience in your target area at Audi and can take on responsibility in related departments. You will also gain valuable insights into key topics and processes related to your target area.

Individual development

At the beginning of the program you will determine your individual program schedule with your supervisor from your target area. Your practical assignments will prepare you for your target position at the end of the program.

A strong network

Get to know the community of the Audi dual program and build up your network within the company.

National and international experience

You are welcome to gain national and international experience during your practical semester.

Financial security

You will receive a monthly salary during the whole program, including the theoretical phases at the university/college. In addition, you will receive vacation pay, share in the company’s profits, and benefit from attractive leasing offers and other employee perks.

Flexible working hours

At Audi you‘ll work up to 35 hours a week within a flexible working hours model. Of course, you are also entitled to holiday during your practical training periods.

Guaranteed employment

If you have successfully completed the program within the standard period of study, we will offer you a position in your target area.

Shaping the future of mobility

For your dual master‘s degree program at Audi, you have to be enrolled in an accredited degree program at a public college/university in Germany. By submitting your application you are already successfully studying in your chosen degree program.

You are free to choose your field of study, as long as it is within the scope of our focus areas of engineering/materials science, IT/digitalization, and archival and historical studies.

Your qualifications and skills

  • You are studying in the first semester of an accredited master’s degree program by submitting your application.
  • Your degree program matches our job offers, which are published on October 1st, 2026.
  • Your German language skills are at least level C1 when submitting your application documents.
  • You are proficient in English.
  • You have already gained experience in the context of academic internships or a thesis in industry.
  • You are a team player and are prepared to take in different perspectives, adapt to new environments and embrace change.

Answers to the most important questions

In addition to your completed online application form, we require documentation detailing your educational background in order to assess your qualifications. This includes your high school diploma and a transcript of your academic record, among other things. A cover letter would also be helpful.

You can scan these documents and upload them as files in the 'Attachments' section of your application. We are also pleased to offer you the opportunity to apply for multiple job openings.

After you have submitted your online application and completed the online aptitude test, you will be asked to complete your application documents. We will then review all applications and test results and inform you about the next steps. In the best case, you will receive an invitation to a personal interview via MS Teams.

Please note that you have to be enrolled in accredited degree program at a public college/university in Germany.

We offer a guaranteed job in the target area for all students who successfully complete their dual study program within the standard study period.

You will receive a monthly salary during the whole program, including the theoretical phases of the university/college.

The amount of financial support is calculated as a percentage of the basic monthly pay in salary group 7 of the collective wage agreement for the metal and electrical industry in Baden-Württemberg (available on the Internet):

1st Audi dual study year: 37%
2nd Audi dual study year: 39%
3rd Audi dual study year: 42%

Students' final thesis are undertaken at the higher education institution/university. Admissions for students to be able to write a thesis are therefore the responsibility of the higher education institution/university and are based on the relevant study regulations. We at Audi support students during their final thesis as a reliable partner in practice. The job description outlines the target department in which the thesis is thematically located. Topics are specified on an individual basis together with the students and their supervising professors.

As a dual student at a university of applied sciences, you are eligible for a financial housing allowance during your first practical phase at Audi.

As a dual student at a university, you are eligible for a financial housing allowance during your first two practical phases.

We will provide you with the criteria for receiving the housing allowance together with your contract offer.
