Audi V8, 1988

The Audi V8 was presented to the public at the 1988 Paris Motor Show. The V8 was the only saloon vehicle in the luxury class to be able to boast permanent four-wheel drive. The registration plate of the model in the photo discretely indicates that the Audi V8 was built at the Neckarsulm production site. Its 8-cylinder engine was also built there. This tradition has been maintained until today. The Audi A8 also comes from the Swabian lowlands.
