NSU 501 OSL motorcycle, 1938

The sporty travelling machine with great durability was also available at extra cost with raised exhaust pipes. Thanks to its good roadholding, the OSL series made the perfect side-car combinations at any time. It was one of the fastest German machines and wooed with the affix "ready for the motorway". Its standard equipment was considered lavish and allowed simple control with the twist-grip throttle.
